"SPL", "Flash Point", "Hero", "Ip Man" or possibly even "Seven Swords" .............. but surely not "The Empress And The Warriors" or "Twins Effect 2" ?

Never seen Twins Effect 2, I also had to think that I have to exclude mainland movies, compared to Hong Kong Movies.

But there is times where it's set in mainland/shanghai but has completely HK casts etc.

many HK-China co-productions nowadays anyway so don't kill yourself over that aspect. For instance, did you exclude A World Without Thieves?

It didn't make the cut unfortunately.

I did leave out the Zhang Yimou flicks too.

I'll spoil the list a little, flicks such as In the Mood for Love, CJ7 and Seven Swords are included, even though I think they were in Mandarin? or at least set outside of HK.

Plus I would expect one person; Meeeh, that's not fi hong kong!
